So, straight away, I'll address the MAJOR part, yes, this is £41, which puts it firmly in high-end body lotion territory but I do buy a lot of "luxury" lotions (with my own money too, lol) and this doesn't cower to any of them, it looks and feels the part. The bottle is really nice and sturdy with a bit of heaviness to it. The pump is great too, it's not stiff but not one of those annoying ones that shoots product everywhere, gives you a decent amount without overdoing it.The scent is one of the main reasons I love this. "Herbal" is actually a pretty accurate description but it’s not medicinal or sharp. It smells calming, a bit of a "mature" scent but not in a cloying way. There are added fragrance ingredients so if you’re very sensitive, bear in mind. I personally don’t have any issues with that sort of thing but as the ingredients aren't listed in full on the page, I don't want anyone to be taken by surprise! The texture is quite light but it does feel hydrating. It spreads easily and absorbs really lovely into the skin without making me feel greasy. My skin feels really soft afterwards. You do not need to use a lot (which you do want to hear at this price point, lol), if you go in heavy-handed, it can start to pill a bit and won’t sink in as nicely. Once you get the amount right though, it’s fab. Like I said, after applying, my skin feels really soft and smooth and nicely moisturised for the rest of the day.Yes, it’s expensive but imo, everything about it backs that up. From the packaging to the scent to how it actually performs on the skin, this is luxury skincare. If you don’t mind spending a bit more, I definitely recommend it.
