A lovely luxury Seaweed Balancing Water Essence, this product feels so nourishing on my skin and leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and soft. There is a very light fresh scent to this product, which I really appreciate as I don't like heavily scented products on my face. This seaweed organics water essence is Cruelty-Free & Vegan friendly. It also is full of protective antioxidants, that help soothe tired skin and restores it to a healthy condition with a formula of three main seaweed extracts (Spiral wrack, Channel wrack, Laver extract).

I got this for my partner without really looking at the listing so when it arrived and I gave it to her she didn’t really know what to do with it! Although it does say on the box that this is for the first stage of a skin care routine it doesn’t give any instructions for usage. My partner referred to the Amazon listing which doesn’t say much about application but there are 2 videos. There is one where there is a lady who applies this liquid liberally to a cosmetic pad and one where a few drops are put into the palm of the hand. She felt that any form of moisturiser or serum that is added to a cosmetic pad for application just had to be wrong so she did a bit of research and found the manufacturer’s website where the video with the few drops in the palm of the hand is present. In addition my partner found that there were instructions regarding the application where it stated:-‘Use daily, after cleansing and before our skincare products. Pour a few drops into the palm of your hand and gently press and smooth over your face, neck.’Armed with this information my partner started using the product properly. She applies 2 drops to the palm of her hand, presses the other palm into it and presses the palms to various parts of the face and neck. With the extra bit of liquid left on top of the bottle she applies a little to one finger and gentle dabs around the eye area. On arrival the bottle comes with a little white plug in the drip part of the top and my partner removes and replaces this with each use as she wants to ensure that none of the liquid escapes accidentally. She advised that the liquid feels a little tacky when it goes on, but when she then applies her usual moisturisers (not part of this brand) they are more easily absorbed, which means that she doesn’t need as much and the tackiness disappears. She has commented that her skin feels nicer since she has been using this product, also be aware this product has a use by date on the underside of the bottle.My partner advises that this is a premium priced product which seems somewhat expensive at first glance. However, if you use it as directed on the manufacturer’s website, i.e. 2 drops at a time, then the 120ml bottle should last a long time, which would make it reasonable value and financially viable to a wider audience. Obviously if you apply it like the woman in the listing treating it as a cheap skin toner then this will be used fairly quickly and would make it a product only for those with a lot of money. I think that this is something that the manufacturer should address on the Amazon listing as it may well put people of purchasing.

The water essence by Seaweed Organics feels a premium product straight away, the bottle is nicely designed and the colour itself feels like a powerful elixir.The water essence is a little more viscous than water and only a few drops are required, it's purpose is to hydrate and revive the skin, it also helps to activate the skin for better absorption, whilst renewing and energising skin cells.I like to apply this after a shower before my daily moisturiser in the morning, it helps me to feel awake and fresh, key seaweed ingredients are: Spiral wrack, Channel wrack & Laver extract.Overall, a premium product that feels as good as it looks, comes in a 120ml bottle so should last a while, easy to apply and absorbs quickly onto my skin, helps me to feel rejuvenated after my morning shower, thank you.

I've followed this brand for a while on social media but only recently started using their products so I was pleased to get the opportunity to try this Balancing Water Essence. The packaging is absolutely beautiful, with a good quality frosted glass bottle containing a liquid which reminds me of the colour of the sea to be found off the beautiful islands of the western coast of Scotland. And I'm delighted that this brand utilises the rich abundance of the Scottish waters and coastlines in a sustainable way and creates their products in Scotland.This essence is slightly denser than water and you just need a few drops, swiped over or patted onto the face and neck. My normal to dry skin has been dehydrated and a little rough recently due to stress and lack of sleep and this makes it feel smoother and softer immediately. It adds a lovely additional layer of hydration between my serum and my moisturiser (I highly recommend their Scottish Botanicals 7 Miracle Blend Daily Moisture). It has a light scent which has the freshness of the coastal breeze on a warm evening with a subtle sweet floral undertone.I love an essence and I'm really enjoying adding this into my daily skincare routine and as I only need a few drops each time, the bottle should last quite a while.

I absolutely love this product. I've been using it in place of my normal serum, after cleansing and before moisturising. It's a simple frosted glass bottle, with a restricted opening. Just tip a few drops into the palm of your hand and smooth over the face and neck. It smells amazing, like the sea, and it has an amazing refreshing feel as it hits your skin. I think the combination of the light yet hydrating skin feel, plus the fresh scent, is just a real treat for the senses. The serum absorbs quickly. It's not oily or sticky and moisturiser sits happily on top, with no residue that could hinder make-up application. £39 might seem expensive but for a whopping 120ml of serum, it's really not and this is every bit as nice (if not nicer) than other serums I've used.

The bottle is a substantial 120ml, which immediately added value for money. Upon testing, I was utterly mesmerised. My skin is very delicate, prone to redness, and easily marked. I’ve now used it for four consecutive days without any additional product, and I’ve already noticed a more even complexion and reduced redness.The blend used in this water soothes my always tired, ageing skin and absorbs without leaving any residue. I never thought I’d be excited about a toner, as I usually skip them in my skincare routine, but this is truly an impressive balancing water. I totally recommend it and would definitely repurchase.
