Handmade soap bundle- Case of 7 giftset

This is a solid block of soap, which is handmade. It smells very flowery. The olive fruit oil and coconut oil make this soap very pleasant to use. It lathers well and creates a very soft feeling when used on hands. Infact, the hands feel smooth after use. The ingredients listed at the back of the box are very easy to read and one can see the oils, beeswax, butter among other ingredients. All luxurious and add to softness. The bar does not soften easily therefore will give many days of continuous use. It's also cold process soap which are the nourishing and moisturising properties of this soap.

I have a growing collection of products from this independent Scottish brand and I have been impressed with each of them so I'm pleased that this soap is proving to be as good quality and as nice to use as the other skincare and cleansing products I use.Handmade in Edinburgh, this soap has a natural, artisan appearance and you notice the scent immediately upon opening. Rose and lavender make a nice combination for a relaxing and calming experience while using the product although the rose notes are a little less noticeable than the lavender.If you haven't used handmade soaps before, they can feel a bit firmer than mass produced ones but this makes them very long-lasting so they are better value than they might at first appear. They also don't lather up just as much, or as easily, but working it in your hands under running water or in a wash basin produces a light, gentle bubbly lather. It cleans my skin well and I like how soft my skin feels after using it.Packaged in a nice quality cardboard box, it would make a really nice gift for someone or you could just buy it to use yourself. And if you want the guests to your home to be impressed by the quality of your soap when washing their hands, this product will do the job.

The overall appearance of the soap is a little rustic, but I think that's reasonable given that it's handmade to traditional methods and boasts NO artificial colours.It's yellowish-green, and looks a bit like a lump of stale cheddar, but fortunately smells much nicer.The combination of lavender and lime is unusual, and I'm not sure I've ever had that pairing before. It works though. I'd rate it as a unisex fragrance. I think the lime is more prominent than the lavender, which is good, as I prefer it. I think it's slightly more suitable for summer than for the onset of winter, but as it's just a soap, it won't be quite as seasonal as a perfume.The soap produces a rich and creamy lather, which rinses easily, leaving no greasy residue.I think it's nice, and would make a nice stocking-filler gift. Being produced in Scotland in the UK is an added bonus.

I was delighted to be able to try out this Rose Geranium soap as I like to use herbal soaps made from natural ingredients. It contains olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and seaweed as well as Pelargonium Roseum leaf oil. It has a delicate, sweet rose scent, although not quite the same as rose oil as it’s a different flower.When used it feels creamy, with a soft foam that doesn’t feel as if it’s drying out my skin. It’s very pleasant and leaves my skin smelling of sweet flowers. I’ll use it as a hand soap as I get very dry hands, but this is also gentle enough to use on the face.It’s a nice bar of soap that’s a pleasure to use as it’s made with lovely natural ingredients and it feels kind to my skin.

I have skincare products and perfume from this brand but hadn't tried their soaps before. I'm really pleased that the soap is as good quality and pleasant to use as the other products I've tried.I absolutely love lime as a fragrance but I don't often find skin and bodycare products containing it. This soap combines a lovely zingy lime scent, which is uplifting and invigorating, with a subtle calming lavender fragrance for a really amazing smell. I could smell it as soon as I opened the package but it's not overpowering, just really natural and mood boosting. I use this soap in the morning and then swap to their Rose and Lavender one later in the day to reflect when I want to feel invigorated and when I want to feel relaxed.The bar has a high quality artisan feel to it so it looks not only handmade, but well made. I like that even though this independent brand is now able to scale up production to be able to sell on Amazon, there is no sacrifice to quality. If you haven't used handmade natural soap before the bar will seem harder and firmer than many mass produced soaps but this means it lasts quite a bit longer. Whether using for washing hands, or the body, when you work it in your hands under a tap or shower, or in a basin, you get a lovely light bubbly lather which feels gentle and moisturising on the skin. The soap contains nourishing olive, coconut and castor seed oils, Shea butter and beeswax (which means it's not vegan) and essential oils. I like that the scent lingers nicely for a while.Scottish Botanicals are independently owned and make their soaps in Edinburgh and it's great that I can combine supporting an independent business with the convenience of Amazon. The soap is great for both your own use or for buying as a gift.

This soap from Scottish botanicals has an appealing natural look: a simple uncoloured block in a simple cardboard box. Very suitable for a present. The smell is definitely a fresh citrus mixed with lavender and the very small visible particles in the soap add interest. The block measures 6.4x 5.8x2.1cm, the box is a very generous fit at 7.5x7.5x3cm.

This Scottish handmade soap smells beautiful, it's very fragrant.Upon review, this has a great selection of ingredients. It's cruelty-free, Plastic Free (the carton was card), and SCPN registered. Made in the UK, plus as you can see from the photo, also has a good shelf life.I like the fact that the soap is cold pressed thus retaining the benefits of the ingredients versus loosing them due to be processed.For me I found the soap really great to use, feels lush, but this is a very subjective opinion based upon my likes / dislikes & skin requirements.At the time of this review, £7.50 delivered.5/5

I love products made in the UK and particularly skin products as I know that they have been rigorously tested for safety.This lovely rosemary soap is made in Edinburgh and is packed with goodies such as rosemary oil, olive oil and 5 different seaweed extracts. The ingredients are sourced locally. It lathers up well and smells divine.Just one thing to note - the Amazon video states that each soap comes with a little soap stand with a drawstring which doubles up as a storage bag, but my soap didn't have that included.At the current price of £7.50 it is not cheap for 100g bar, but it is hand made and from a Scottish company, is vegan and cruelty free, so I think it is worth paying the little bit extra to support manufacturing in the UK.

This review is for the item described as “Lavender & Lime Soap, Cold Process natural face bar soap, With Premium Essential Oils, All Skin, Collaboration with RBGE, DIANA DRUMMOND, Scottish handmade soap, With seaweed extracts.”The soap comes simply packaged, unwrapped, but in a cardboard box. It smells lovely, although I could only pick up the lavender and not the lime. The bar seemed light and on weighing it, I found it was only 90g. I believe my scales to be accurate but it is possible they are very slightly out. The packaging carries the ‘e’ mark for average weight and my understanding is 10% less than the stated weight falls outwith the ‘tolerable negative error’ allowed and is a ‘-T2’ example which should not be sold. Assuming my scales are correct, the manufacturer needs to address this.

This soap smells very luxurious, a nice subtle fragrance which isn’t overly strong (I’m not massively keen on strong smells).I’m not sure what cold process soap is, but I’m guessing it’s how the soap is made. The soap itself seems nice and hard wearing and seems to lather quite well.I would be interested in trying some of the other fragrances by this brand. I can’t comment on the longevity of the soap yet, but if it lasts a long time it might prove the above average cost good value.My wife is the soap expert and she definitely gives this one a thumbs up.

I love the scent of this soap, it's subtle but lovely, and well balanced. The soap has clean ingredients, no toxic fillers or irritating ingredients. It lathers into a smooth foam and exfoliates gently. It doesn't strip away too many natural oils, it works very symbiotically with your skin, helping protect the microbiome.The soap rinses off cleanly, without leaving stubborn residue on the skin. The packaging is minimal which is great and convenient.

I use this on my whole body, scalp, arms, face - it's versatile and works everywhere. The scent is great, very marine like and fresh, especially with the seaweed and oatmeal, it makes a smooth creamy lather, which feels luxurious, it cleanses gently but effectively, and has some exfoliation action. It doesn't feel harsh or irritating, even on sensitive areas. The soap rinses off easily.The bar has some decent longevity, I would say that it lasts a month if used regularly.

This soap has a citrusy and flowery scent with the lime and lavender, it makes a lovely combination and smells great. It feels great on the skin too. It doesn't seem to do anything amazing, it acts as an average soap bar, it cleanses excess oils, dry skin and left my skin feeling light and moisturised. It didn't dry my skin out or irritate it.The packaging is aesthetic and minimal and it would make a great gift too.

Lovely soap - have ordered other fragrances from this company and am always impressed with the size and quality of the bar. Feels very premium and full of luxurious but natural ingredients. Really happy with this

It has a lovely fresh smell, and lathers into a good rich cream, which I find very kind to my skin. There's certainly none of the oil stripping qualities of those horrid bottle held liquid soaps, which are effectively detergents, and leave your skin dry and parched. This does the opposite, and it seems to moisturise my skin and give it added elasticity.This is a hand made soap, and I like that it is produced here in the UK. It's a little more expensive than some, but worth the investment, I feel. These also make lovely gift items, by the way.It gets top marks from me, and a strong recommendation.

This is a nice balance between luxury and natural - it's a bit chunky piece of soap, so good value for a handmade product too. The smell is lovely and feels really good on your skin. I'm actually surprised at the price for the size and the ingredients, they're really lovely gifts or self indulgent treats.
