I've tried a number of soaps from this small Scottish company and all have been wonderful - this rosemary scented soap is no different. It has a lovely fresh smell, and lathers into a good rich cream, which I find very kind to my skin. There's certainly none of the oil stripping qualities of those horrid bottle held liquid soaps, which are effectively detergents, and leave your skin dry and parched. This does the opposite, and it seems to moisturise my skin and give it added elasticity. This is a hand made soap, and I like that it is produced here in the UK. It's a little more expensive than some, but worth the investment, I feel. These also make lovely gift items, by the way.It gets top marks from me, and a strong recommendation.
I really like this handmade cold process soap! The rosemary scent is refreshing but not overpowering, and it works well for both my face and body. It cleans effectively without leaving my skin feeling dry, which is a big plus. The addition of seaweed gel and olive oil makes it gentle and hydrating, and it’s great for acne-prone skin thanks to rosemary’s anti-inflammatory properties. A lovely handmade soap that feels good to use and is kind to sensitive skin!
A very pleasant smelling, good frothing and nicely textured feeling soap. A good british-made product and that ni itself warrants a little extra. A nice gift, but very expensive. I also wonder how long the scent would last, as it is only in the open box. A treat, rather than a daily lather!
Such a lovely subtle but natural fragrance to this soap. It’s a compact size, stays firm and holds up well in the soap dish. It cleans beautifully with no drying or irritation.Overall a lovely UK made premium soap that is easily worth 5 stars.
This review is for Rosemary Soap, Cold Process natural face bar soap, With Premium Essential Oils, All Skin, Collaboration with RBGE, DIANA DRUMMOND, Scottish handmade soap, With seaweed extracts.I received this to review as part of the Amazon vine program. This soap smells nice and I find it lathers well. I do love the smell of rosemary. The listing has a video in it which says that the soap comes with a bag to store the soap in. The soap I received didn’t have the bag included – it is just a box with a rectangular soap inside, which isn’t plastic wrapped. I do think the price is on the high side for soap. I have sensitive skin and haven’t reacted to this. If I experience any issues with it in the future I will update the review.
Looks and smells great. Lathers well. And from Scotland. The Rosemary smell is fantastic and not too strong.
This rosemary soap is handmade in Scotland with essential oils and gives a deep clean as well as moisturising and hydrating skin. It foams well and smells great and will make a lovely present as it arrives in a pretty cardboard box with a viewing window so that you can see and smell the soap.
I love products made in the UK and particularly skin products as I know that they have been rigorously tested for safety. This lovely rosemary soap is made in Edinburgh and is packed with goodies such as rosemary oil, olive oil and 5 different seaweed extracts. The ingredients are sourced locally. It lathers up well and smells divine.Just one thing to note - the Amazon video states that each soap comes with a little soap stand with a drawstring which doubles up as a storage bag, but my soap didn't have that included. At the current price of £7.50 it is not cheap for 100g bar, but it is hand made and from a Scottish company, is vegan and cruelty free, so I think it is worth paying the little bit extra to support manufacturing in the UK.
Gets a bit soggy and doesn’t smell very much of rosemary
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Rosemary Soap by Diana Drummond, and I’m utterly captivated by its charm. This soap is a true testament to the beauty of simplicity and the power of natural ingredients.
The fragrance of this soap is divine. The earthy, herbal notes of rosemary transport me to a fragrant garden, creating a refreshing and invigorating experience every time I use it. The scent lingers delicately on my skin, offering a subtle but delightful aroma that lasts throughout the day.
One of the standout features of this soap is its texture. The soap bar is incredibly smooth, making it a pleasure to glide over my skin. It produces a rich, creamy lather that cleanses gently yet thoroughly, leaving my skin feeling impeccably clean and remarkably soft. What I appreciate most is how this soap doesn’t strip my skin of its natural oils; instead, it nurtures and hydrates, making it perfect for daily use.
Knowing that the Rosemary Soap by Diana Drummond is crafted from natural ingredients is a significant plus for me. It’s evident that this soap is made with care and a genuine passion for skincare. I love how my skin feels revitalized and subtly scented with the essence of rosemary after every use.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend the Rosemary Soap by Diana Drummond to anyone seeking a soap that not only cleanses but also pampers the skin. It’s a luxurious experience wrapped in simplicity, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Diana Drummond has undoubtedly created something special, and I’m looking forward to exploring more products from this exceptional brand.
