Vegan Seaweed Shampoo - Refill

This is a huge bottle! 1lThere seems to be a hype on seaweed shampoos recently.This one is very thin, watery.It foams, but not as much as other shampoos (I personally don't mind).On some days I use it my hair is great on others not so much and then it gets greasy easily.There is really long list of ingredients, some of them less desired than others. It says it's organic but how much of it is good for you?It took me a while to complete this review cause of the patchy performance of this product. I'm still unsure do I like it or not.It's very expensive at 50£ per bottle.I think that my final resul would be not to repurchase it, as I'm not over the moon with it and it's expensive.I hope my review and photos were helpful 👌

Made my hair soft . Nice smell .

To my horror I had noticed that my hair was thinning quite a bit and my scalp was incredibly itchy all the time as I am going through the menopause. Then I was recommended this shampoo and the transformation of my hair is incredible. Right from the start of using it I noticed a difference. Now, after a only few weeks of using it, my hair is healthy, shiny, thick and strong and my scalp is no longer itchy. I'm so grateful. Also one bottle goes a long way. You don't need a big dollop, just a little pump. The smell might not be to everyone's taste if you're used to flowery, sweet scents, but I like the fresh ocean scent. It's seaweed after all.

Smells quite strong - menthol/rosemary but ok. Like the idea of natural Scottish vegan friendly product.Main problem for me is how watery it is - pump action bottle hard to control as it spills out of my hands before I can get it onto my hair.I have long hair and it was very hard to comb out.

I have almost used a full bottle to see the long term effects. My hair was getting thin, but now it’s feeling fuller and thicker than I can remember. I usually wash my hair with it twice. The fast lather produces little soapy coverage. Use a little first to remove grease, then use again to properly soap up the scalp. It smells great and my hair feels fresh. I have long hair, and I would say the bottle has lasted 2-2.5 months washing twice a week.

Great shampoo stopped itching scalp will buy again , wasn’t keen on the conditioner very runny didn’t seem to do a lot

Too early to see results ,but love the fresh feel of the shampoo, scalp and hair feel very clean.

Bought shampoo and conditioner as I was loosing hair(menopausal?)hair loss has improved,as with texture and look of hair.Not cheap,but worth it.

Highly recommend this shampoo. I first doubted that it could work or it would help, but only after 3 uses I can say that it helps.I have natural, not chemically processed hair, a little bit of dry scalp. I didn’t like the smell of the shampoo, it just felt too naturist, but I got used to it. I applied shampoo twice. At first, if hair is dirty or very oily, you will need a larger amount, but not too much because it creates a lot of foam so after I shampood twice I didn’t use conditioner just to see how my scalp/hair reacts.To my surprise, my hair is shiny, easy to detangle, my scalp is less dry. Normally all the natural shampoos I tried, all made my hair dry and hard to detangle. With this one, I don’t even need conditioner which is great.

I didn't want to like this because it is on the pricey side, but it is awesome on silver/grey and blonde hair.My hair is shiny & clean, smooth to the touch feels nicely moisturized. I don't feel the need to use conditioner with it.

This shampoo works really well. It doesn't lather much as it's SLS free but it's still easy to apply it to all of the hair. It rinses away quite quickly and leaves the hair feeling soft, smooth and clean. As this is a giant refill bottle you need to decant it into the normal bottle first, otherwise it is too difficult to use.

I was really excited to try this Seaweed Shampoo because of the natural ingredients and the large 1L refill size — great value and eco-friendly. I also appreciate that it’s vegan and free from harsh chemicals like SLS and parabens.However, I personally don’t like the scent. It’s quite strong and just not to my taste. If you're sensitive to fragrances or picky about how your shampoo smells, this might not be the one for you.

Smells like a fresh Scottish breeze and leaves my hair soft, clean, and smugly eco-friendly. No nasties, just lovely seaweed and rosemary doing their thing. The 1L refill is a win — my hair and the planet are both chuffed.

Good quality seaweed shampoo is always expensive, but this 1 litre refill bottle is actually a very good buy pricewise. It is great for dull, lacklustre hair, and also for scalp conditions that cause flaking, and itching. Having used similar products in the past I have found that I need to wash my hair less, and also use less of the product to get great results. This is a very good quality seaweed shampoo, and with a twice weekly wash it should last approximately 6 months. Please note that this is a refill bottle, and is much easier to dispense if you pour it into a 1 litre pump bottle for use. I think it's a great product, and worth every penny.

Wow! I was a bit skeptical about spending this amount of money on shampoo or conditioner, and whether an organic product could deliver.Now I am extremely aware of products that 'artificially' clean and nourish your hair. My hair feels genuinely clean and conditioned. It looks thicker and naturally clean with a shine to it that highlights all the tones in my hair - it's soft too!It has a very strong, menthol smell and does take a little while to lather-up, but do persevere...it's worth it!

This shampoo has been great on my chemo hair and scalp. A wee bit pricey but would buy again and recommend

Smells divine, I'm going through the menopause and my hair can feel limp and lifeless. The shampoo has instantly brought in back to life,has a shine,feels totally different. Will definitely continue to purchase. Love it. Thank you 😊 x

Came with a loose top which is also damaged due to poor packaging used by Amazon which was a cardboard envelope? No stars for delivery as it’s Amazon’s fault! Five stars for a great product that works shame I only got half of it!!!

This is a seaweed shampoo, stated to be organic, Smells nice. Cleans well. Cannot comment on the long term affects but I liked it.Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. A fantastic shampoo that performs well and smells great. I was a little sceptical at first with this product but from unpacking it with its simple yet elegant design through to its performance, it lathers well and cleans the hair great. The smell of rosemary is great and a nice change to the normal shampoos.

decent quality shampoo with high quality organic ingredients. The hair feels soft and nice after each wash. The price is attractive to pay under £20 for such a quality shampoo product. The scent is nice, fresh, and natural. Love the ingredients, their quality and quantity.

I love using organic products made in the UK, especially produced by small businesses, so I was keen to try this seaweed shampoo.The shampoo has a lovely fresh smell, and you can really smell the rosemary. It is in a bottle with a pump, so very easy to use, and the shampoo itself is a thin clear gel. It massages well into the hair and you get a nice soft lather which really cleanses your scalp and hair. Once I had cleaned my hair of all the grease in the first wash (I have VERY oily hair), I repeated with just a little of the shampoo and got a really rich lather which I massaged into my scalp. I then finished off with my normal conditioner (although I am now going to buy the seaweed conditioner which accompanies this shampoo).The shampoo is made in Scotland using organic Scottish seaweeds, plant-derived cleansing agents and also rosemary oil and vitamin E. There are actually 5 different kinds of seaweed included, each one having different actions, such as anti-microbial, anti-photoaging, anti-oxidation.The shampoo leaves my hair soft and silky, and not at all flyaway, which is a problem I always seem to have with a lot of other shampoos.I look forward to trying other products from this company.At the current price of £18 it is more expensive than my current brand, but I am willing to pay extra for something produced organically in Scotland.
