I was interested to try this as I think the ingrdients are quite unusual and with the product being on the more expensive side (currently £42.30) I was expecting impressive results. The packaging is lovely and the bottle is glass which is obviously more high end, so points for that. The serum itself has a sort of creamy/serum texture. The fragrance is okay but not one I think stands out. It absorbs well in to the skin (you only need a few drops) and it does give a nice glow with a slight feeling of tightening. I have been using it in my skincare routine for a little while and it does fit in well. Not sure what the longterm effects will be, but happy to keep using it. Good as a treat as it is on the pricey side.
I have tried some other products from Seaweed Organics, and loved them. This one comes up trumps. Okay, so they use the somewhat vague name of 'essence' – this is a serum for a freshly cleansed face, before topping up with moisturiser. The packaging is lovely and beautifully designed, with information on the box. The bottle (generous for a serum at 50ml) has a pump which works perfectly. The product doesn't have a strong smell, but the scent there is very fresh. I love the consistency – it's silky without having that overly 'lube' like feeling when a product is packed with silicon. It just feels very refreshing and hydrating, with no grease or oiliness. It's gorgeous. Value for money? You're getting a very enjoyable product which isn't the cheapest, but is far from the most expensive. I recommend it.
A review from the wife... I've used this at the start of my face care routine as a serum. It is a light liquid that absorbs easily into the skin. It has a scented fragrance that is pleasant enough. It certainly doesn't smell of seaweed like I expected! I have very dry skin and this doesn't really moisturise my face that well. I use additional moisturiser after using this. For me, it has been a a nice enough serum which hasn't caused any adverse reactions but hasn't given any noticeable Improvements to my skin either. So I can't really see much benefit in my continuing to use this for my routine, particularly at its premium price point.
I couldn’t be more pleased to try the Rejuvenating Essence from Seaweed Organics. It comes in a beautifully elegant 50ml bottle, perfectly packaged in its branded box and well-wrapped for protection. The texture is something between a serum and a cream—it has a creamy colour but absorbs rapidly into the skin. I apply 3-4 drops using the applicator, which works perfectly, then gently press it into my skin. It absorbs quickly, leaving a nourishing and slightly tightening sensation. The formula feels incredibly gentle and natural, made with seaweed, which is quite unique. While I can’t yet comment on long-term rejuvenating effects, after just a few days of use, it already seems like an excellent addition to my skincare routine. Also, it has a 12-month shelf life once opened, which is great. So far, very impressed
So unsure what to expect, so I think it’s more serum like and as such have added in to my routine directly after cleansing and before final moisturising and SPF. I use a couple of pumps which probably amounts to around pea size of serum. I Apply both day and night and it absorbs quickly and with no dryness or irritation. I find proving whether there is a difference incredibly hard as I think it’s about long term goals and consistency. For me it’s got some nice natural ingredients and fits well into my routine so this is one I will look to continue with.

I've been impressed with this rejuvenating essence, it's made a noticeable difference in my skin in just a few days. The fluid has quite is viscous texture, and if you put too much on it can feel quite sticky, I've found that one pump is sufficient for my whole face and neck. It has an iridescent sheen and a light, fresh scent, I'd assumed it would smell salty or fishy being that it has seaweed extracts and sea water as ingredients but I'm glad I was wrong. It hasnt irritated my sensitive skin and any redness/tone in my skinseems reduced too. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly, it isn't clear whether it should be used as a serum or moisturiser but I've assumed it's a serum. I've been using it predominantly at night and my skin has definitely felt more hydrated, smoother, and softer in the mornings. It's a generous bottle and because I'm only using one pump per day the bottle should last ages which is good value.Overall I'm impressed with this rejuvenating essence, based on the results after just a few days I'm looking forward to seeing the effects after a month. My skin has a better texture and looks better, more radiant so I'd definitely recommend it. 5*
Firstly I like to take care of my skin.. I usually use moisturiser with as little chemicals in it as possible... This syringe a really lovely texture and absorbs u into the skin really easily.. No smell and seems to be helping with fine lines but don't expect miracles...A few drops is all you need so a little goes a long way which is good as its very expensive but looks and feels like a premium quality product... I like the fact it's UK made....

Made in the UK, Scotland to be precise, the Seaweed Organics Mid Seaweed Rejuvenating Essence comes in a glass jar with a pump dispenser inside a beautiful branded box. The bottle itself is minimalistic in design, bearing just one simple label. The key ingredients are seaweeds dulse, Egg wrack and bladder wrack extract, along with sea water. The other ingredients are listed in the product description. I have a lot of skincare products, but this is my first seaweed one, and I have to day, in short, I really like it.The directions are on the bottom of the bottle, apply two or three drops to the face and let it dry thoroughly. The essence is reasonably thick in consistency and has a pleasant, very subtle fragrance that is hard to describe, it's neither floral nor citrus.I have a complex morning and evening skincare routine of cleanse, tone, serum, moisturise, day/night cream etc, and I've found this essence to be a perfect midday skin boost. Rather than try to slot it into my morning/evening routine, this is just the thing to use in between to give my skin the pick-me-up it needs during the day. It absorbs beautifully into my skin, leaving it with a lovely glow.I don't find it the most moisturising of products on my skin if I'm being honest, so for best results I often follow with a little dab of moisturiser. However, overall, I find this a lovely skincare product that I enjoy applying each day.As with all skincare products, results will vary wildly from person to person depending on skin type, but my personal experience of using this seaweed essence so far has been positive. I like everything about it, from the branding to the packaging to the essence itself.
This serum comes in a smart cardboard box that explains this contains the essence of mid shore seaweed, and to this end - it contains extracts from various seaweeds, primarily red sea lettuce and comes along with sea water. It is in a heavy glass bottle reminiscent of sea glass, and has a fairly easy to use pump. A couple of drops of this will go a fair way, with about 4 or 5 to cover the face. It comes out quite sticky and it takes a little time to be absorbed. It smells fairly pleasant and neutral, though I'm not convinced yet that the seaweed has helped much.
