Sad to be giving this Chamomile body wash, by Scottish Botanicals, a 2* rating. I had high hopes for it.However, upon opening, I was instantly aware of an, almost stale perfume smell. Guessing there was a minor leak during transit, so I continued to try the product. All over the lid, and pump opening, there was residue cream which must have gone stale. This is when I noticed that the actual pump is not secured to the lid with any sort of seal around the tube to stop leakage (see video) First pump, and the cream seeped out onto the lid. The cream itself is extremely slippery and one pump goes a very long way. The initial scent was really lovely, but, after a while, once absorbed into the skin, that stale musty scent returned and was difficult to wash off.Personally, this scent was not for me, but I wonder if I received a bottle with a bit missing. This product was provided to me as a promotional offer and was not sold to me
This Body Wash is very much aimed at the premium market although in its defence it does offer a full half litre of product contained in a practical mess free pump action dispenser. The fragrance s really interesting with a subtlety missing from many toiletries with notes of chamomile, mint and other herbs emerging to create a memorable scent that lingers long after the shower. The consistency is gel like and this creates a really rich and moisturizing lather which covers and cleanses the body effectively. My only concern is the list of ingredients is very long and contains elements like Citronella and limonene that I wouldn't have thought were vital to this distinctive body wash and may be allergens for some. In its own box this is a giftable choice for the lover of quality toiletries with original fragrances.
This body wash comes in a 500ml bottle that is operated by a pump. It also comes in a pretty cardboard box. I do feel the current selling price of £33.00 is very expensive even though I can’t fault the quality of the product at all.✅ soothing and hydrating✅ with chamomile extract✅ smells great✅ lathers well
A lovely Chamomile smelling body wash in a large 500ml pump bottle. Quite a heavy price tag at £33 so comparable with the like of Moulton Brown / L'occittane etc and you don't need a lot for it to later well. Doesn't appear to dry out the skin.
A rich silky body wash that smells amazing and a small amount produces a lovely rich creamy lather.Although subtle the natural fragrances of mint, lemon balm and rose came through the most, and remained on my skin even after rinsing and drying.I also found it lightly moisturising, leaving my skin lovely and soft.Lovely bottle and the pump allows for dispensing small amounts. It comes presented in a simple but beautiful recyclable outer.Whilst it’s priced at the premium end of the market, the lovely ingredients, large bottle and gentle cleaning performance makes it worth it.
This body wash comes in a nice big 500ml bottle with a pump dispenser. Unfortunately, the box had been damaged in transit leading to some of the body wash escaping. Better packaging would prevent this. This body wash is carrying a £33 price tag which is rather a lot of money to pay. Having said, what you will receive is a body wash that smells exceptional. It really does. You need just a small amount to create a really good soapy lather and it feels beautifully soft on the body. Its scent really does last well. It's a very calming fragrance which is probably due to the chamomile in it.The product comes at a premium price but you do actually get a premium product which would make an excellent gift.
The SCOTTISH BOTANICALS 7 Miracle Blend Chamomile Body Wash comes nicely presented in a generously sized 500ml boxed bottle with pump dispenser.I've attached a photo to this review of the full ingredient list on the box. There is nothing particularly nasty in there, however it does contain a couple of fragrance ingredients like citronellol, limonene, geraniol etc that might irritate sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin, so this isn't something I personally need to consider when selecting skincare products. The body wash produces a beautiful creamy lather and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without drying my skin out.It has a lovely fragrance which is hard to describe. The product description says: ;Soothing Herbal Aroma: Subtle herbal scent promotes relaxation and eases daily fatigue.' I would absolutely agree with this description. The fragrance is subtle and doesn't linger on the skin.Granted it's not the cheapest body wash on the market, but it's exceptional quality and feels somewhat luxurious. Moreover, the 500ml bottle will last a while.
I ordered this soap/ body wash and found that it foams up well in the shower and has a decent smell to it somewhere between citrus and a more earthy aroma. The bottle is robust and has a strong pump action to give a decent handful if needed. A nice box is included which would make this a good gift option, it is a premium looking product that at time of review is £33, a very expensive proposition but I feel after using it made me feel refreshed and not dried out. Overall impressed if the price can be overlooked.
