When invited to review this, I was in two minds, as I don't often use body lotion, finding it a bit of a faff, and I'm not very keen on chamomile. But as I was deliberating, I noticed a sore patch on my rear thigh - likely from my jeans rubbing. This felt like it could do with some lotion. It dawned on me you do not necessarily *have* to do your entire body. Plus past products from Scottish Botanicals have always been very nice, which swayed me to give it a chance.I'm happy I did. The plastic, pump-style bottle arrived in a tasteful monochrome box, featuring what look like pencil or charcoal drawings of chamomile fowers. The box did have one or two dark smuts on it, which could be ink-stains from the printing process, or very light shop-soiling. It didn't affect my enjoyment of the product, but might be annoying if it was for a gift.In the interests of testing, I applied the lotion to my full body initially, even though I'll probably keep the rest for "problem" areas. It does smell of chamomile, but it's subtle enough that even this non-chamomile fan can get away with it.The lotion is quite light and non-greasy, and doesn't take too much effort to rub-in.I did feel quite pampered after using it, but maybe because I rarely use body lotion, so the ritual alone felt special.Despite the name "Miracle Blend", can't say I experienced any miracle moisturising or rejuvenating effects from using it, but it felt nice. At the current price of £41, you might hope for more than just "nice", but Scottish Botanicals has always pitched itself as premium, and the price reflects that.

This body lotion smells like nature itself and is very easy to apply. The skin becomes instantly soft, smooth, and fresh, with a comforting, soothing feel.Yes, it sits in the more expensive category, but for 500 ml of pure care and indulgence, it truly feels worth it. Every time I use it, it feels like a small ritual of self-love—and that alone makes it special.
Inspired by historical herbal medicine, this body lotion uses chamomile as the primary extract. The lotion is easily absorbed and not greasy at all. My skin is so hydrated! The subtle fragrance combines with natural ingredients to create a premium body moisturiser.
A light textured body lotion that smells divine (herbal) and soaks in well, without leaving my skin feeling greasy. The packaging looks high end, however for £41, I would have expected a glass bottle, rather than plastic. As the skin is the largest organ in the body, it really matters what we put on it and it is for this reason that I have dropped a star, as the ingredients aren't on the item listing at all, which was a little bit of a red flag for me. Fortunately, they are mostly ingredients that I am happy with, there are a couple of added fragrances, which are ok for me, but may irritate sensitive skin. I have added a photo of the full ingredients as the listing only states chamomile, which is wildly inaccurate! The price if £41 is fairly high for many people, but fortunately, a little does go a long way so the value overall is good and I love that it's UK made too.
Smells amazingFeels soft on skinGreat size bottle
FABULOUS body lotion! Rich texture, smells divine (as if you have just stepped into an aromatherapy spa), soothing and moisturising on the skin. A little goes a long way. I like to use it before bedtime, when I can take my time and massage the cream into my skin before putting on my pyjamas. With this price tag (£41), it's most definitely a luxury product, but it is a large bottle of lotion (half a litre), so it should last quite a while, as long as family members don't start to "borrow" it...I had never heard of this brand before, but I am so impressed with this body lotion that I am going to investigate other products in the range. If you are wondering whether to buy it, don't hesitate! It would make a lovely present or just treat yourself!
This body lotion is divine. For the price I was expecting a lot and it doesn’t disappoint. It is beautifully packaged and presented in a generous 500ml bottle. It smells lovely. I found the best time to use this is after showering on an evening. The scent is quite strong and helps me sleep and I can still smell it the morning after. I really love this lotion and look forward to trying other products from this brand.
So, straight away, I'll address the MAJOR part, yes, this is £41, which puts it firmly in high-end body lotion territory but I do buy a lot of "luxury" lotions (with my own money too, lol) and this doesn't cower to any of them, it looks and feels the part. The bottle is really nice and sturdy with a bit of heaviness to it. The pump is great too, it's not stiff but not one of those annoying ones that shoots product everywhere, gives you a decent amount without overdoing it.The scent is one of the main reasons I love this. "Herbal" is actually a pretty accurate description but it’s not medicinal or sharp. It smells calming, a bit of a "mature" scent but not in a cloying way. There are added fragrance ingredients so if you’re very sensitive, bear in mind. I personally don’t have any issues with that sort of thing but as the ingredients aren't listed in full on the page, I don't want anyone to be taken by surprise! The texture is quite light but it does feel hydrating. It spreads easily and absorbs really lovely into the skin without making me feel greasy. My skin feels really soft afterwards. You do not need to use a lot (which you do want to hear at this price point, lol), if you go in heavy-handed, it can start to pill a bit and won’t sink in as nicely. Once you get the amount right though, it’s fab. Like I said, after applying, my skin feels really soft and smooth and nicely moisturised for the rest of the day.Yes, it’s expensive but imo, everything about it backs that up. From the packaging to the scent to how it actually performs on the skin, this is luxury skincare. If you don’t mind spending a bit more, I definitely recommend it.
This is a generously sized 500ml bottle of Scottish Botanicals chamomile body lotion, complete with a pump-action dispenser for easy use. The outer packaging is beautifully designed, adorned with delicate wildflowers that give it a calm, natural feel - perfect for gifting or treating yourself. The lotion itself is Vegan-friendly and Cruelty-free, which is always a priority for me. It spreads smoothly, absorbs quickly, and leaves skin feeling soft without any greasiness. I’ve been using it daily and really appreciate how light yet nourishing it feels. At £41.00, it’s definitely at the premium end of the price scale, especially compared to my usual body lotion. However the combination of ethical credentials, elegant presentation, and quality formulation makes it a lovely indulgence if you’re looking to treat yourself or someone else.
This chamomile body lotion feels calming on the skin and provides good, long-lasting hydration. The texture is rich but absorbs well, leaving skin soft and comfortable without greasiness. It’s suitable for all skin types and works especially well if your skin needs something soothing and nourishing. A lovely everyday moisturiser.
